Even though this book is ten years old, it's full of healthy recipes without that much fat or salt. Author Bob Wiseman's trip to his doctor brought about it's publication. There's nothing like finding out you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol to scare you into changing your diet. Traditional dishes such as Chili, Salsa, Frijoles, Enchiladas, and Brunuelos are also included. A nutritional guide for each recipe has also been supplied - we don't have excuses for not eating properly anymore! Most supermarkets these days carry a wide variety of chili and spices, both canned and fresh, so you shouldn't have problems obtaining certain ingredients.
