Life Laughs - The Naked Truth About Motherhood, Marriage, and Moving On
by Jenny McCarthy
Dutton
ISBN 0-525-94947-X
Published May 2006 - Hardcover - 219 pages - $23.95

I'd not read any of Jenny McCarthy's books but I was warned.  She warns you that she always tells the truth.  This is a humorous look at life as most of us experience it, but who don't make notes from which we can learn.  Her book also enforces the fact that we human beings are all the same.  We all do the same things (bodily functions), try to out-argue each other, gripe about one spouse not pulling their weight (guess which spouse), cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids, etc.  It's just that we differ slightly in how we deal with the various issues.  Ms. McCarthy has a delightful way of explaining things - as they are.  You'll be able to spot yourself in many of the same situations and hopefully, you'll find them funny.  She writes about foreplay, motherhood, sex, wedding gifts, deaths, and dating among other interesting things.  Some things you'll have to read twice to make sure that that's what it says.  Ms. McCarthy is donating a portion of her proceeds from the sale of this book to Talk About Curing Autism (TACA).  For more information visit the TACA Website at www.TACAnow.com.  You can also visit Jenny at www.jennylaughs.com.
Conclusion - This is an eye-opener if ever I saw one.  You'll have more than a few laughs.
