Window Basics - Easy & New-sew Treatments
Better Homes and Gardens (Meredith Books)
ISBN 0-696-21321-4
Published January 2002 - Softcover - 112 pages - $14.95

Now, this is my type of no-sew decor.  Whether it's blinds, sheers, panels, or valances you're after, they're all covered in this book.  The decor of a room is important as is the availability of light, or lack thereof.  The valance idea is interesting and I loved the map-of-the-world blinds, especially for children's rooms.  Lots of hints and tips for not only improving or updating your windows, but also ideas for other room changes.  It's quite amazing just how different (and improved) a room can look with either a subtle or dramatic change of window treatments.  Whether you need more light, or less, you'll find plenty of ideas for your home right here.  See my review on Window Style, another BHG book.
Conclusion - An interesting and inspirational book suitable for most homes.
