This is just what you need on those long, icy winter nights. A pot of food all done and waiting for you to get home. Certainly lessens the stress somewhat. Here we have hundreds of recipes from soups and stews, meat and meatless dishes, potlucks, and poultry. You'll never be stuck with what to make with recipes such as Vegetable Chili, Cumin and Coriander Pork, Easy Chicken Cacciatore, Cajun Shrimp and Rice, and Pears in Lemon Cream Sauce to choose from. Hearty and healthy dishes that are suitable for any occasion. There are even some dessert recipes. I'm looking forward to trying the Olive Bread recipe on page 361. With the Better Homes and gardens test kitchen having already done the testing for us, what more could we want.
