Renown British chef Gordon Ramsay has put together this delightful book on desserts.  It features not only some of his favorite recipes, but also his tried and tested hints and tips.  Very useful for those of us who need all the help we can get.  The illustrations are gorgeously tempting although I doubt my limited decorating capabilities will get me that far.  I was drawn to these tempting delectables - Strawberry and Pink Champagne Gelatin, Slow-roasted Peaches with Orange Caramel Sauce, Nougat Parfait, and Orange Panne Cotte.  There are also sections on chocolate, soufflés and mousses, and an interesting "Basics" section where you'll find recipes for Stock Syrup, Choux Pastry, and Meringue.  This book is teeming with wonderful ideas for desserts for your table.  A wine list to accompany desserts has also been thought of.  I always find the generosity of such well-known chefs incredible as they part with their culinary favorites and secrets.  So, thank you Mr. Ramsay.
