Ordinarily I don't like too much "packet food", but because I am poor and can't afford to eat as I would normally, I've had to resort to desperate measures and have had more than my share of Ramen Soup. And because it's salt-laden, be sure not to have it more than a few times a week. Author Toni Patrick has put together many interesting recipes you can try, and these are some I'd like to try out myself: Spring Salad (using the seasoning packet in the dressing is a great idea); Water Chestnut Ramen Salad; Chicken Alfredo (great if you're in a rush); Hungarian Skillet Meal, and Lasagna (another quick and easy dish to make). Kids love Ramen Soup (I think it's the noodles), so being creative and using these recipes, you'll not only be getting liquids down their gullets, but also vegetables. Bonus. Remember: Ramen Soup also has MSG (monosodium glutamate.)
Conclusion - A very handy little recipe book to have on hand, especially in leaner times.
