The Spotlight books by Moon are somewhat slimmer than their Handbook counterparts but are no less informative. Thankfully (for me) Savannah is a walking city to be enjoyed on foot and offers many squares as part of the original design. The books says, "...it's seemingly one of the last places left where eccentricity is celebrated and even encouraged," and "a small-scale yet cosmpolitan city with a fun-loving mix of history and modernity." I love that. Steeped in history, this city has a lot to offer that's both very old and pretty new. Along the Savannah River, in this "organized" city, there is much in the way of sightseeing, and this guide offers walking tours, trolley tours, entertainment and events, accommodations, transportation, the famous coastline, outside Savannah, many maps, and nearby islands. Other things to look out for are the wild horses of Cumberland, wildlife areas, and of course the restaurants. This book packs a lot of information into its 154 pages, and you'll do well to study the contents to find what you're looking for. This book is featured as the "Savannah" section of the Moon Handbook Charleston & Savannah.
Conclusion - Informative with lots of historical bits and bobs and general information.
