What a fun book this one is! It's a kind of mix-and-match where the pages are split into a 3/4 and 1/4 divide, with the top part featuring main dishes and the bottom having side dishes or desserts. The pages are color-coordinated so you can flip through the Simple Classics (blue) for dishes like Chicken with Mushroom Sauce; or Rich and Savory (maroon) for the likes of Turkey Marsala; or Mexican, American and Caribbean Fare (orange) for Herbed Tenderloin Steaks. Then, you match with the bottom pages which have corresponding colors. So, for my first dish of Chicken, I could choose Herbed Baby Carrots. For the second dish of Turkey, I could have Pasta Primavera as a side dish. For the third dish of Steak, I flipped through and randomly chose Nutty Apple Salad. This is a superb book for those with little or no time to plan meals. I particularly like their timesaving tips - if we organized our kitchens better, it wouldn't be such a pain searching for things.
