This is one busy mama.  Anni Daulter's credentials will wear you out!  Just one of them is that she's the founder of the fresh, organic baby food company, Bohemian Baby.  Eating good and healthy food is not limited to quinoa and sprouts!  Especially for little children.  So, Ms. Daulter came up with these fantastic "sweets" that not only will kids love, they'll benefit healthwise too.  Not only do many kids not like "real" food, it's a challenge to get them to actually eat what's good for them.  No refined sugars are used in these recipes, which is great news.  There are lots of useful tips on how to involve your children in the preparation of these frozen treats, which in turn usually sticks in their minds for when they're older and can help themselves.  Now, personally, the thought of combining steamed vegetables and sometimes tofu as a frozen treat, is not that appealing.  The categories in Ms. Daulter's book are: Pure Fruit Pops; Veggie Pops; Yogurt Pops; Tofu Pops; Herbal Tea Pops; Chocolate Pops, and Specialty Pops.  Some of the recipes that appealed to me are: Bluebird Pops (blueberries, blackberries, pineapple and coconut sugar among other ingredients); Yellow Goodness (yellow squash, cantaloupe and mango); Harvest Pop (apples, butternut squash, dried cranberries, wheat germ); Summer Splash Tofu (oranges, strawberries, blueberries, silken tofu and more), and Mexican Spiced Fire Pops!  I have to say, I really would like to taste the Happiness Pop (milk, cream, white chocolate and peppermint).  Finally, could you ever imagine a frozen pop with ingredients like granola, balsamic vinegar, ricotta cheese, kidney beans or spinach?  Visit the website for more information at www.consciousfamilyliving.com.
Gorgeously illustrated.  No nutritional guides.
Conclusion - A wonderfully healthy and tasty way to give your kids a good start in life.
