Cooking the Greek Way
by Lynne W. Villios
Lerner Publications
ISBN 0-8225-4131-9
Published February 2002 - Hardcover - 72 pages - $25.26

This is the third book I've read in this series and I'm really enjoying the overall concept of these books.  When I think of Greek food, Moussaka comes to mind, as do Souvlaki and Baklava and Spanokopita.  As in the other books, you'll learn a little about the country, the people, as well as the food and customs.  I love Tzatziki and was glad a recipe was included.  I'd like to try the Lentil Soup and the delicious-sounding Honey Cheese Pie (like a cheesecake).  Their Chocolate Bells sound like a decadent treat, too.  These books aren't chock-full of recipes but are a nice introduction to each particular culture's cuisine.
Illustrated.  No nutritional guides.  A children's book.
Conclusion - Easy Greek recipes to surprise the family with.
