When I see "no-fuss" in a book's title, I'm immediately interested.  The Contents of this book are: Appetizers & Snacks; Salads; Soups; Sandwiches; Main Dishes; Breads & Baked Goods; Side Dishes & More, and Desserts.  So, it seems as though they've covered most everything a cook would need to keep themselves and/or their family happy on the food front.  This book is very enticing with its beautiful color illustrations, so much so that you'll want to flip through before reading a word.  The recipes are from readers across this country and Canada, and these ones caught my eye: Zucchini Patties with Dill Dip; Fresh Broccoli Salad; Favorite Turkey Salad; Warm Asparagus-Spinach Salad; Leek Soup with Brie Toasts; Garlic Fennel Bisque; Summer Squash Soup; Mushroom Steak 'n' Linguine; Gouda Focaccia; Parsnip Sweet Potato Pancakes; Apple Nut Cake with Rum Sauce, and Apple Fritters.  The recipes appear to be easy to follow and the prep times vary between just 10-25 minutes with only a few taking a little longer.  The ingredients didn't appear to call for unheard of items and most things I've seen in my local stores.  I think this book would appeal to newlyweds as there aren't any elaborate or complicated recipes for a novice to wrestle with, that's if you're a novice cook when you marry!  Just straightforward and really rather simple dishes.
Beautifully illustrated.  No nutritional guides.
Conclusion - A handy go-to recipe book filled with lovely new ideas.
