The authors, a chef, an acupuncturist, and a nutritionist, have put together this book of cleansing recipes for healthy detoxing of the body. Based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the properties of food, they've come up with this useful book full of easy-to-make recipes to help keep your body functioning well. Although these days, one hardly knows who to believe anymore when it comes to what one should eat, but they've done a convincing job, making it all sound as though it really works. Trial and error I would imagine. However, I'm hooked and can't wait to set aside time to detox. They have a quiz based on the yin and yang aspects, to establish whether you are a 'hot', 'cold', or 'neutral' person, and there are plenty of recipes to choose from accordingly. These should keep you healthy and detoxed for ages. Now there's literally no excuse not to take better care of yourself. By the way, it's not all tofu and brown rice.
