Oh what fun.  Recipes from the perfectionist Bree, the casual Susan, the harried Lynette, hyper Gabrielle, and bombshell Edie.  Each character has their own "recipe book" (within the one book) with Bree and Susan offering the more comprehensive categories which include First Courses, Main Courses, and Desserts among others.  Lynette offers Kids' and Family Meals while Gabrielle's offerings include Traditional Dishes and Simple and/or Healthy dishes.  Edie's, well, check it out for yourself.  Can you guess which of the following recipes belong to which character?  These are some of the dishes featured: Roasted Peppers and Fresh Mozzarella Topped with Arugula Salad; Spicy Paella; Meatloaf; Fruit Salad with Yogurt-Honey Dressing; Finger Sandwiches; Buttermilk-Soaked Fried Chicken; Sunset Chicken and Rice; Classic Bistro-Style Mussels in White Wine; Butternut Squash Soup; Chicken Cutlets Saltimbocca; Oysters Poached in Champagne and Cream; Penne with Spiced Vodka Sauce; Mango Martinis, and Ambrosia.  Other cast members also offer their culinary courses, i.e. Mrs. Huber, Mike Delfino, Felicia Tillman, and Mrs. McCluskey.  There aren't any nutritional guides, not even for Bree's meals, but there are short synopses of each character which gives us a little more detail as to the their make up - fun.  Great pictures of the cast, and the food.  This television series can go in many directions; perhaps next a fashion and style book à la Desperate Housewives?
