What a great packaging idea! Recipes on cards that you can spread out on a table and choose from. Each of the 50 recipes has a picture of the dish on the reverse. And like any good "cookbook", this deck offers the Basics (recipes for Basil Pesto, Basic Vinaigrette, and others). Categories covered are Appetizers; Soups; Salads; Vegetables; Meat; Seafood; Poultry; Pasta/Potatoes, and Desserts. These recipes appealed to me: Butternut Squash and Chestnut Soup with Chipotle Cream; Colorful Coleslaw (looks delicious); Pork Chops with Sweet Cherry Peppers; Grilled Tequila-Lime Shrimp, and Crostini with Mascarpone, Berries, and Honey. With some recipes there are also wine pairings, which is always helpful. I love the feel (good quality card stock) of the cards, and handling them is a delight.
Illustrated. No nutritional guides.
Conclusion - Almost two month's worth of great recipe ideas. The cards are a fun idea and would make an ideal gift idea.
