I often fantasize about living in the Tuscany region in Italy, and of enjoying the culinary delights.  I adore Italian food, so this book was a natural choice for me to review.  Just when you think they cannot possibly come up with more recipes, another book hits the shelves.  Restaurateur Cristina Ceccatelli Cook, herself from Tuscany, gives us an insight into her thriving restaurant in Sun Valley, Idaho.  She not only offers us her recipes, but also snippets of her Italian heritage, family, and staff.  On offer are the likes of: Antipasti; Salads; Soups; Pasta, Polenta & Risotti; Fish & Meat; Desserts; Breakfasts, and Breads.  Some of her delectable recipes include: Walnut-Parsley Vinaigrette; Cauliflower & Fennel Tasty Plate; Orzo, Corn & Avocado Salad (sounds delicious); Cipollata; Spaghetti with Spicy Eggplant; Sorbetto ai Frutti di Bosco, and German Pancake.  While some recipes sound exotic, they don't appear to be difficult to make.  I like that Cristina gives you the recipes for sauces and vinaigrettes right there with the main recipe - very convenient.
Exquisitely illustrated.  No nutritional guides.
Conclusion - I loved this book.
