Colin Cowie is known around the world for his exquisite attention to detail and his planning and executing memorable weddings and events.  He's seen regularly on Oprah and The Early Show and has been featured in countless magazines.  Known for his lavish productions, big or small, and his meticulously careful conception of what his clients want, this book features fourteen of his romantic and well thought out weddings around the world.  Look at the plans on pages 30, 60/61, and 178 for an idea as to what goes into Colin's arrangements and preplanning.  I love the tall centerpieces made of roses which Colin uses a lot - great to look at without impeding conversation.  See pages 25, 78, and 172.  Realistically, most people cannot afford a wedding planner in Colin's league, but he graciously shares his gift for putting together lavish and tasteful weddings in this book, so that anyone can glam up their own wedding.  He explains how he finds his inspiration and the great lengths to which he goes to ensure no detail is overlooked.  The spectacular photographs graphically illustrate this man's superior taste and vision.  Pictures that blew me away are: page 86, pages 152/153 (unbelievably beautiful), and pages 222-224 (oh, my god!).  Visit Colin's website.
