Cooking the Chinese Way
by Ling Yu
Lerner Publications
ISBN 0-8225-4104-1
Published September 2001 - Hardcover - 72 pages - $25.26

This is the fourth book I've reviewed in this series, and Chinese food being one of my favorite foods, I looked forward to what they had to offer.  Not indepth information but enough so you get a good idea of who and what you're reading about.  Rice and noodles come to mind when thinking typical Chinese food, but as we know, there's a lot more to this fabulous cuisine.  What I also like about Chinese cooking is that many dishes are one-pot meals, are quick to cook, and are usually healthy meals.  I'd like to try these recipes: Egg-Flower Soup and Pork with Green Pepper and Pineapple.  Many recipes are familiar but you'll come across a few new ones, and none seem difficult to prepare.
Illustrated.  No nutritional guides.  A children's book.
Conclusion - Another very enjoyable trip to another part of the world, cuisine and all.
