I've reviewed many books on breads and muffins, and this has got to be the best-value-for-money cookbook of all! Seventy-six recipes for breads, loaves, challah, doughnuts, French toast, waffles, rolls, tarts, biscotti, scones, and more. Open to page three and you'll see a very welcoming photo of Herb Bread, and it's made of bread flour and whole-wheat flour! I liked the sound of these unusual recipes: Minced Pumpkin Bread (yay, made with fresh pumpkin); Lemon Nut Bread; Butterscotch Bran Muffins; Sweet Potato Muffins (yay, again, they use freshly cooked sweet potatoes), and Gingerbread Pancakes. There are so many tempting ones to choose from, so this is my small selection. I'm loving these small booklets as they're full of great recipes at an ever greater price. Wonderful stocking stuffers!
