New Crockery Cooker Cook Book
Better Homes and Gardens (Meredith Books)
ISBN 0-696-01740-7
Published - To Be Confirmed - Hardcover - 80 pages - $9.95

A wonderful way to solve the age-old question of what to make for supper.  We've all wrestled with this question but now, thanks to editor Linda Henry, who also pondered this dilemma, a lot of the guesswork has been eliminated.  Although this book is about 16 years old (waiting for confirmation from publishers), it is chock-full of great hints and tips for using your crock pot.  A few things may have changed over the years but these recipes are ageless.  For example, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Clam Chowder, and Pork Roasts are old favorites.  Of course the best meals prepared in a crock pot are soups and stews but here we have baked goodies and desserts as well.  There are also a few beverages to try and the Christmas Bread Pudding looks very interesting.  This is not the biggest cook book I've come across but it's going to come in very handy for me and I can't wait to get cracking.  I feel the inspiration building and ideas circulating in my head and I am so looking forward to the cold winter evenings with a good and hearty meal cooked in a crock pot.
Conclusion - A nice addition to the busy cook's recipe book collection.  Please visit Better Homes and Gardens website if you cannot find this title in your local bookstore.
